I think that its wrong that parents think that they can censor what their children are reading. I would hate if my parents would tell me what to read and what to listen to because then you wouldn't be your own person. You would be the person that your parents want you to be.

i no i would hate it to if my mom or dad tould me to read or listen to a serton thing because i have differnt test then my mom and dad and i need to do things that i like to

i agree with this. If parents told their children what to read/listen to then that would only make their children exactly like them. Everyone is unique and needs something to set them aside from others. That wouldn't happen if the parents are too controlling.
