I feel that parents do have rights which allow them to inform their children on controversial topics. Someone who may hold different values than the childs parents could give an influence in which the parents wouldn't agree nor appreciate. Having other views on a topic isn't neccessarily a bad thing but i believe the parents have the right to introduce the subject or be the first ones to have talked in depth about it with their children. Some schools do not have a drug program so they will never be taught.
