#1 Question: Is the concept of "artistic value," as it is included in the legal definition of "obscenity," a subjective or objective concept?

Personally, think that "obscenity" is mostly an subjective concept. Obscenity has been interpret differently throughout the decades. What was obscene to your parents seems normal to you. One example that I can think of is the song "Come on baby light my fire" was once found unacceptable. Now in the year 2007 we find song that are more and more obscene. Though I agree there should be a set limit to what is obscene, the media keep pushing the younger generations to just accept what is currently obscene.

It is true, but does the media really care about how they sell their merchandise and not care who it effects even if regulations were set on it.
