I think that most parents never talk about controversial issues because they believe that there children wouldnt do bad things such as drug use. They want them not to use drugs so bad that they think if you dont bring it up it would be un heard of in there family.

I think that the reason that courts try to define the concept of "obscenity."  Is because people think that they are better than others so if theres an competition they want everyone to turn against them. In a way it is prejudice, and when legals courts use it it is a big problem. I think that parents shouldnt let there kids read books with this type of content in it. If they are aloud to read books wiith this content in it they might think it is ok.
