I agree that if the child is much younger,that the parents should examine the book they are going to ban, but if the child is older like 17 or more they should be able to read what they want. If the parent is extermly opposed to the book like if goes agenst their beliefs then only after they have read it or at least looked it over.Then iit's the parents decission especialy if their child is younger.

I do belive that parents have a right to talk to their kids about what they want, but also some kids may be learning somthing in school that they are not learning at home and it may help them or not. So yes I think parents have the right to teach their kids what they want.
